Radia Durrani, a graphic designer and Illustrator based in Karachi, Pakistan, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design from The Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in 2020. Since then, she has showcased her work in group exhibits in Pakistan and contributed illustrations to Aga Khan University’s digital magazine. Currently serving as an assistant creative manager; graphic designer and Illustrator at DAWN media group, Radia’s art, rooted in realism, encompasses both digital and traditional mediums, with a preference for watercolors.
“For this collaboration, my inspiration stemmed from the fusion of traditional and modern art techniques-combining the intricacies of hand-drawn elements with digital rendering. Exploring the details of often-overlooked elements in our surroundings, like bees, fish, and other subtle nuances, with a playful infusion of color.”
